Dear IRSPM members,
After a few very uncertain months, the IRSPM leadership has now made a number of decisions for the year ahead.
IRSPM 2021 conference
The first step has been to secure the dates for our Annual IRSPM conference in the upcoming year. As previously announced, the next IRSPM conference will take place on 21 - 23 April 2021 and will be in a virtual format. We are very excited to experience this new way of “meeting” you all and sharing the latest research and insights in the field of Public Management.
IRSPM membership 2020 – 2021
An important decision taken by our board was the extension of membership benefits for all our current members. If you are receiving this message, it means that you are currently a member of IRSPM. Given the unusual current circumstances, we find it only fair that your membership benefits be extended free of charge.
If you wish to extend your IRSPM membership for the coming year at no additional cost, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we update your details and membership status.
For those of you who are willing and able to support the Society through this difficult time, it is possible to donate your usual membership fee by becoming a Supporting Member. You can do so via the online application form. While we will greatly appreciate your contribution to our efforts at IRSPM, doing so is entirely voluntary. We will be happy to have you as an IRSPM member regardless.
If you have already paid your membership fee during and following the month of May 2020, you can either become a Supporting Member (in which case the Society will retain your fee as a donation) or request a refund.
For all other inquiries about IRSPM membership, please contact us by sending email to email@example.com

I am pleased that Routledge, our long-term partner and publisher of Public Management Review has very generously offered to support IRSPM and its community by offering FREE online access to PMR for all IRSPM members until 31 December 2020.
This is very welcome news, and I would like to thank Routledge for this show of solidarity during these uncertain times. We are very pleased and excited that we can continue to offer access to this excellent journal, which is an essential source of knowledge and expertise in the areas of public management and public policy research and implementation.
Once your membership is updated, you can access PMR through the members section of the IRSPM website.
Special Thank you
I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the members of our Executive Board who continue to volunteer their valuable time to steer the Society through this difficult period. In spite of the challenging circumstances, we are excited about supporting and enriching our vibrant community in new ways in the coming year. We very much hope you will continue to be a part of it.
With best regards, and on behalf of the IRSPM board
Prof. Jenny M. Lewis
